The WATERSHEDSUNITE project was created in 2000 by Cedar Rapids, Iowa natives James Martin and Brian Emerson. This project seeks to accurately address water quality issues through creative means. Specifically we utilize a multi disciplinary approach to research, that explores diverse aspects of a watershed. We believe that a song writer, artist, poet, or storyteller can provide a water quality assessment that can complement that of the scientist. It is our goal to illuminate the 'character' of our local waters to reaffirm its vital importance to our personal and collective livelihood.
